little Neosporin and some Advil and you'll be right as rain.

That picture is actually a month old. It hasn't healed like, at all, hence the reason I'm here.

I tripped down a staircase in my apartment complex. A cement staircase - that's why it's all roadrashy looking.

I was at the campus clinic two weeks ago. They cleaned it out really well (Lots of gravel and gross junk was trapped under the scabs / skin) and gave me some antibiotics for the infection that was starting. I was left with two wounds - pretty deep. Was told to just keep it wrapped and vasaline'd and that the antibiotics would do their thing. The antibiotics surely helped with the pain (The infection was causing so much pain that I couldn't even walk on it), and I was pain-free for about two weeks. Buuuuut about 3 days ago that pain started coming back. Seeing as these two wounds have not healed, like, at all + that same pain coming back, I figured the infection was coming back.

SO YESTERDAY, I had an appointment at 2pm at the campus clinic. The second I stepped my infected foot in there they pretty much said "gtfo to the ER". So I've been sitting here since three yesterday.

This is absurd. Entering hour 17.5.

My balls shriveled up looking at that.

I would agree with A that is a typical sign of diabetes.
As for that long of an Or wait Damn i have never been in an OR more than 3-4
hours in my life, and thats through 3 kids and their Er visits

Must be a public hospital... Kind of glad I use private health care about now

Keep badgering them. The people at your ER are either extremely slammed with cases or totally incompetent.

fairly certain she's hooked up to an IV with antibio meds right now.
