So I purchased this account earlier today, if you guys remember all the stuff he had listed to be included with the account. There were items such as Sebilite Croaking Dirk, Gem encrusted ring ect ect. After purchaing the account he stripped all the droppable off. When i asked him what the deal is he claims he will get me an SCD later. But yu guys look at the screen shots and you be the judge. The guys charcters name is Weezard hes from TMO. It funny how he immediately changed his post to say just account sold, so you cant see what all he had advertised.

Petition to see if the forum mods can provide you with a pre-edit version of this post. Then make a list of all the droppables that were listed but not included and Petition it. Not sure if the GMs will help with that, but worst case scenario, take it to RnF.

When can you ever trust someone from TMO, it's a shame weezard is such a fucking asshat.. I hope the dev's step on his face and ban his account..

Before this turns into a TMO hatefest, Weezard was an applicant and did not complete the application process.

Shouldn't this account have been escrowed? Why didn't they check on the items?

Valid point, all of the accounts I've sold/traded I always had the owner log on the character on so I can see everything that's included.. I'm not sure what happened here however...

FYI to tmo, I hope this guy just failed his application process

Yeah he was deguilded, or supposed to have been deguilded about a week ago. Not sure if it was one character left in or we just missed the actual /guildremove

We found just as much issue with the account switching as he did with the account selling. He was an applicant and had been denied. Hope this helps!

Escrow on a 300k+ account is double-digit thousands of plat -- 5% would be 15k, 10% is 30k. It's understandable to try to avoid that fee if you're dealing with a person you trust. And I'd think a level 60 in TMO would generally be considered trustworthy.

Personally, I think it's a much better idea to just use escrow for insurance, but I can understand why someone would avoid it in this scenario.
