Those who prefer newer models just have inferior taste. Some people prefer McDonalds to sushi, to each their own.
The worst thing about the new models is the animations, which you can't really show off in screenshots. Everyone seems hunched over and they move choppily and awkwardly, as if they had something large lodged up their behind. This alone is the dealbreaker for me, watching everyone's character wobble around all hunched-over makes me feel like I'm playing a fantasy game complerely inhabited by geriatrics. Everything that made the races unique and "EverQuesty" was lost in the new models, too. Ogres went from charmingly goofy and massive to generic tall muscular humans. Trolls became generic tall muscular humans with darker skin. Each race had a very unique look for each set of armor, and once again it all looks like generic whatever with the new models. Not to mention the models just aren't aesthetically pleasing, the eyes especially are fucking weird and creepy. |

Bingo! It wasn't just that the models looked awkward, the animations we're 1000x worse. |

I do admit the animations were not the best in the new models,...but you guys have to admit, the old graphics look like blocks with basically no detail options for the user. the animations of the old blocks were good.....but they were blocks. The armor is one of the main things that is shitty about the old graphics. You can hardly tell what people are wearing. Also, the user doesn't have an option to Show/Hide helm with old graphics. So they have to deal with wearing a block(helmet) on their block(head).

newer models are shit and that is the end of discussion.
