That seems like a rather exhaustive chore lol.

Isnt it enough to say that this is a universe of duality and fierce individualism. After all, we are not biologically wired to share thoughts vis a vis telepathy.

If we were more akin to the borg the idea that collectivism resides above individualism would have merit, but we're not.

As hinted in prior posts regarding seeking that which both sides seek to avoid, discuss.

"But the proposal ruffled feathers in Washington. Incoming chairmen of committees that traditionally oversee energy and environmental policy complained that a Green New Deal select committee would strip them of legislative power. And Beltway veterans privately expressed frustration that a cadre of insurgent freshmen, some of whom toppled long-time allies in primaries, were using their grassroots popularity to call shots."

What do they mean by "using their grassroots popularity to call shots"

Is that like....a representative representing the desires of their constituents over upper eschalon tribalism's special interests? Ignoring their constituent's desires doesn't seem very "left" to me. *boggle*

I do question the integrity of the journalist writing this article, though, because WHO are these "Beltway Veterans" that are "privately expressing" this treasonous sentiment against their constituency?

Anyone pro-AIDS here?

Throndor 12-21-2018 07:29 PM

I got kicked out of a class back in HS in the mid 90s for suggesting that AIDS was manufactured in a lab as a means of population control. Does that count?!

I would've rewarded you for thinking outside the box and questioning authority.

The teacher was wrong, not you.
