This is situation we are currently in. We know the vast majority of old wealth is ill-gotten. But we got to pretend some stupid rich kids are somehow entitled to it....

No. There are laws like no insider trading and no bribing politicians. We have proven that particular people did break the law to achieve their wealth. Nothing is ever done about that. It is not acknowledged.
