They don't mind paying their employees 100,000+/year with a large portion of their employees conducting data-mining (for targeted marketting) and surveilance (for "trust score" monitoring of the general populace).

But they're going to need a lot of cheap labor to keep the restaurants, coffee shops, fast food restaurants and other "service industry" workers working like slaves below them as they outsource all of the manufacturing and physical labor their industry necessitates overseas to keep their profit margins really high. This is why they don't want Trump applying tariffs to imports, because then it negates the point of why they're offshoring (to take advantage of asia's communist labor pool.)
