He is on his own forum when he is streaming. While he may be playing a game that is a service provided by Rogean and Co., his twitch channel is a complete representation of his opinions that are separate entities from that of the P99 Server(s) and Forums, thus the staff bashing rule doesn't apply.

very true! however, if you think we ban people for shit they say on their twitch streams, you must be high.

with that said, if you wanna do some real talk, people don't need a reason to ban people on private servers. we don't need a reason to ban a person on p99, just as streamers don't need a reason to ban people from their stream channels. we as a staff 'choose' not to ban without a legitimate reason, we 'choose' to investigate ban appeals to make sure we got it right, we 'choose' to show restraint if we don't have proof, despite what we know, and we 'choose' to remove staff that can't follow the rules.

AND we STILL do classic EQ better than anyone else on the internet ;)

Addendum to this, simply because it annoys me seeing how often people say it: "unprofessional" isn't really as damning as some players seem to think it is in this context.

P99 isn't a commercial/professional enterprise. Decrying the "unprofessional" behavior of people who are running a game for you, for free, because they feel like doing so, is laughable, particularly when that specific complaint mainly arises when people are acting like jerks toward the staff in the first place and apparently expect that behavior to have no consequences.

Excellent post. It's well within Rogean's right to be a tyrannical power hungry monster. However, the staff and him restrain themselves and chose to only punish people for official gameplay violations/forum violations.

Oh it's certainly not a bad thing. In fact it would clear up a hell of a lot of trash on this server instead of making in game and on the forums just one big RNF thread.

Guy went nutso after waiting 3 days for a petition. I had one that was over a month I just gave up on and ate the loss. He probably would have started the next Columbine. Anyways, A+ recorded twitch stream. Would watch again for lulz.

Well its easy to get fed up over a petition especially considering how quickly a petition from a raid group gets answered. It's like a 911 call when raids are involved.

so it wasn't Lupus

Maybe it has been brought up in the depths of this 27 page thread, maybe it hasn't. But when I watch his streams, I can't help but see:
