it boogles my mind that heartbrand thinks people will treat him loyally when he leads red dawn from one team to the other as the week changes... people voiced their opinions, choose not to listen? shits going to happen

basic diplomacy 101

Actually, the vast majority of people were all 100% supportive of working with Nihilum, hence the vote, the TS vote, etc. Who left to AZ over working with Nilly? Jibeknn and Nacht. Xantille / Exed / Dacuk, all hardcore PVP'ers remained in RD. Our issue was the EXP nerf killing newer blood's ability to level up and join in on the fun. But shrug, trolls gonna troll.

Did you not send some tells to Lite telling him Nizzar did not appreciate your guild or something? Seems to me exp was not the death of your guild but your shitty choices.

The members stated they felt they wanted more loot out of our arrangement with Nihilum. Personally I thought we were getting a lot and should be happy, but I did what members wanted and tried to work for more. Ultimately, that nothing to do with anything. Our numbers dwindled, not because people left, but because the majority of our newer players stopped logging in because EXP was nerfed, and typical Red99 burnout. Coupled with the fact that the wave of new players stopped [the initial RD wave which was brought by the shutting down of EQMac], it wasn't feasible to build towards the numbers needed for Velious. I'm more than confident RD could have continued on and sniped mobs on sim repops and the like, but the goal for the guild was to kill things in Velious, not snipe a couple of 32k hp mobs.

[also like 8 people losing their accounts due to Sektor didn't help]

Let's make a list of who takes eq to serious and ban those fuckers.

Yes, because I can absolutely know in advance that Sektor logged into Player_01's account in 2012 for 30 seconds and therefore is likely to be banned.

Not sherrif srs? Cyren is banned because sektor logged into his account before, same with Exed, Mordeath etc. The GM's just did a IP Query and banned all accounts Sektor ever logged into.

Bardalicious 03-27-2014 11:04 AM

Wasn't Sektor himself in RD? Forgive my ignorance.

Rellapse36 03-27-2014 11:08 AM

How many permanent bans ever been gave out? like 2 salty and abacab

Sektor is/was a cool dude always down to help people when he was around.

Your choice to ally with Nihilum was a bad move. It cost you a whole lot of time/effort.

Here's how "allying" with Nihilum decision came about [aka they give us a mob to not work with Azrael]

I bat phoned RD, we had TS meeting

"hey guys, Azrael split from the guild to do their own thing, Nihilum wants to give us a mob if we don't work with AZ, what do you guys think?"

"Awesome" "fuck AZ "Wow thats great" "Yes"

It was about 95% unison, with the exception of like Badger who left. Anyone who didn't approve of it and kept it to themselves rather than voicing their opinion, and then rage quit over it, I have zero respect for. We had an open discussion, and everyone was free to give their thoughts. But keep pushing that party line dawg.
