You're gonna need more than allies. I just started recently myself and can't find a mob to kill for all the twinks and PL'ers clearing the zones, LOL!

I guess you picked the wrong two days a month to log on then, I see newbie groups all the time. Maybe your just Anti Social?

I'm usually grouped. That isn't the issue I was speaking to. Doesn't matter whether you're solo or grouped if there is nothing to kill. There are dozens of threads discussing this.

I am currently a 14th warrior with a friend who plays a 13 cleric, Gremin and Jista respectively. We also have another friend who plays a 14 necro, but hes out of town a week. Look us up in game if your class you choose suits our group..we typically play evenings around 6pm pst during weekdays and on weekends we start around 2pm pst.

Oh, and if my exemption goes thru my wife will be playing either a ranger or druid depending on her whim of the day. She played both on live side and loves em both.
