Meh, alot of these guys are a bunch of nerds who take lots of unnatural shit. There were these twins that used to train at the gym with me and my bro, one of them was on gear... obvious as fuck... used to spot him and he was doing 180 kg incline bench... I was all natural and could only do a set of 6 on 140 kg flat...
My highschool pal was close friends with them and went on the gear as well... guy went from being smaller than me to being huge... they fucking ate a shitload as well... 3 eggs and a full breakfast, a whole chicken for lunch.... My mate was doing flat back flys with 45 kg dumbells and the tendon in his shoulder gave way... snapped at the gym and as his arm came down the other shoulder gave way... apparently his muscles out grew his frame and he was recovering the injured shoulder for over 5 years... he went from benching 160 kg flat back to being only able to do 50kg until he was fully recovered...
These days there aren't many strength trainers... I picked up indoor rockclimbing in 07/08 with some mates after a shitty relationship and realised that even though I had strength, it wasn't really practical... So I spent the next few years leaning down... and sleeping around...
But yeah me and my bro were both all natural... my brother has been doing it longer than me and has a better proportion, which is why he competed... genetically I'm a big guy and can gain muscle easily, so I try to do more cardio...
TLDR: Steroids will fuck you up one way or another... bodybuilding should not be about size alone, but about overall strength and fitness...
