Is it ever possible to start notifying your community of maintenance.. maybe 12-24 hours.. Its classic, and furthermore its a nice gesture to your players who plan out their days for repops with Christmas a week away.
Its very common in customer gaming community.

It could have been something unexpected or urgent. Probably best they address it now rather than later.

6 hours down and still no news ..... an aproximation of the length of maintenance plz!

in a perfect world, that'd be awesome. But sometimes we as staff do not always know 12-24 hrs in advance of when we will actually be able to do something. Especially with the holidays going on. So if someone happens to get a window of time to knock something out, we aren't going to pass on that opportunity just because we couldn't give 12-24 hours of notice.

No, but people do take off work for normal repop windows, like today.
