The only executable file that's not everquest.exe that is anything of importance is ipatch.exe and then eqgame.exe is the eqgame what your referring to? Thanks for helping guys appreciate ya, attached is .ini f

that eqclient.ini looks reasonable to me. not sure how it got the .txt extension as attached here.

You should definitely try using launch_titanium.bat instead of any other executable

OPs background is pretty shitty - I would try a fresh reinstsall

Have you tried loading into a different zone? Is this error on all 3 p99 servers?

Castamere 04-22-2020 10:19 AM

Before the patch I used to crash while zoning almost every time (for the last year or so). I haven't crashed since patch day. So something definitely changed. In my case i'm not complaining.

Well launching from the titanium.bat file worked all day got booted a few times which was manageable nothing bad. Up until right now i get on and instantly start loosing packets. Why? Peak hour for the servers! everyone just got done eating dinner and everyone is on. its trash im done.

Did you ever try a vpn? Connectivity issues affect a small percentage of users - I've never had a problem in several years now.

Sorry to see you go...

You can also create a shortcut of eqgame.exe, set compatibility to XP SP2, put the target in quotations and add patchme at the end.

Right click eqgame.exe shortcut > Properties > Shortcut tab
Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

That will launch the EQ program without any other 3rd party tools.

Have you used a different modem/router altogether (like a hotspot) to see if issue persists?
