Zomg...this is the rules lawyering Rogean was worried about. And we're getting it on a freaking Hadden spawn.

If someones at a spawn and camping it, don't be a dick and pull it. If you arrive at the camp and someone is just sitting there staring at the mob, send a tell and ask if they're camping it.

I don't know if what the OP says is true, but either way the FTE BS on a solo camp is ridiculous if someone has been sitting on it.

Aint everything just FTE? to camp something you have to be on top of spawn / agro range and get FTE.... obviously if a bard ran up and got him before you could stand up and attack him, you where too far away from the camp/mob and did not get FTE

FTE is supposed to be the tie-breaker when a GM has to intervene. It was that indistinguishable line that could be drawn so that a GM didn't appear to be favoring one guild over the other. That is the purpose Rogean alluded to in the Raid changes thread.

The rule that's more important than FTE? Don't be a dick. FTE has gone from a tie-breaker to the rule that governs all.

To clear things up more. Yes ambrotos that is my toon and apologize for being absent in this post but i travel for work. I was sitting across from the fire where hadden spawns when Delearium pulled him up over the hill so i feel like 30 seconds is sufficient enough time to run after him and finally get a spell off after the first one was out of range for me to land(notice txt in pic). I attached some pics of what i managed to take and yes they are from my phone, comp wouldnt take a screenshot. As you can see from the one, I was ready at the spawn but being completely thrown off guard and flustered as to what was happening i targeted my pet and told him to attack himself, after quick target change I began casting Engulf darkness which got interrupted due to delearium pulling him over the hill and out of range. The other pics is his death txt which happened down by the road, unfortunatly i didnt snap pics til i went back to the spawn and scrolled txt up. Last one is of me being unable to loot and me asking him for his comments with his response explaining his actions are based on the fact my name is Varsoon. Which if that was a problem I think the gms would have changed my name long ago considering Ive talked to many of them at various times, from rez's to ec tunnel run ins. I have no bad feelings to the GM though, he tried to help and I understand its something small and insignificant compared to majority of the petitions you guys get but its the principal of the matter for me.Im usually a casual quiet player but this just set me off, after taking a years break or so and trying to rebuild my account this is what I come back to. All I can do is get this guys name out there for the community. Also, thanks for the support and understanding from most of you all.

You run to a spawn and someone is sat there camping it, you walk away...simple.

Also just the comment from the guy in /tell says all you need to know. He is an immature kid.

So, how much more of being a dick is required before people like this get punished. The tell he send to the OP would be enough for me to suspend his account for 2 weeks and tell him to be more polite in the future or face further disciplinary action...

Honestly, we need to start addressing people like this or else they just continue doing what they do...
