Gotta tell ya - it’s probably going to be a sugarcoated neolib that makes identity politicians feel good about themselves for casting their vote, but will do zero-to-fvck all to change the income inequality and corporate greed that is currently screwing over the working class.

Would love to be able to afford my child’s uni tuition as a teacher. Would love for my son to be able to pursue his interests, maybe start a small business or become a “creative” without fear of having no healthcare. Would love to have the same social security like my conservative, midwestern grandparents had. Crazy to me that this is considered radicalism in 2019.

I would probably say you and your child deserve more opportunity since you’re a teacher. Those are obviously more essential than investment bankers. However, we have too many people relying on state support. The diabetic should not be provided dialysis. Type II diabetes is overwhelmingly related to lifestyle. Disability is widely abused, etc

No one should go bankrupt if they get cancer (unless it’s lung and they smoked, those people should die on the streets as an example of bad decision making), but these problems aren’t easy to solve by restructuring the economy. The fact that we have surpluses is at least somewhat due to the conspicuous consumption we all love to demonize. Incremental progress should be the goal. As for healthcare, even the ACA obliterated rural hospitals. Even though many more people got insurance, functionally, tons of rural folks lost access as their local hospital went under. It’s going to be very difficult to “fix” healthcare, especially if we aren’t going to impose costs on unhealthy lifestyle choices

WTB an obese tax

Tucker Carlson allows the other side of the story to be told about Venezuela.

But he hedges a bit. "Weellll, I'm not sure about all that but I'm glade you can say that here."

One thing is for sure, our back opposition is definitely unpopular and violent. But I don't believe that Maduro is some angel either.

This is just another fantasy that we will somehow get oil for cheap that will benefit us. It will benefit a few CEOs and shareholders and be remarkably expensive for the rest of us. Just like Iraq and all the other stupid military projects we have been taking on. The US Army has turned into a mercenary entity for global corporations. One that is not even paid adequately by their clients.

Do you understand the strength of the US dollar and what that allows?

This just shows that you now see Libertarians as far-right Nazis because your personal Overton Window is so fucked up.

Get help. You're deranged.

Does the $2 trillion infrastructure package include high speed rail? I need a direct train to Colorado where I’m buying a winter house
