If you ever want to really contemplate about how crazy things have gotten, consider this- Bill Clinton's liberal campaign from the 1990s would be considered far right extremist and bordering on nazi like in 2019. Whenever someone left wing wants to tell you the right wing has shifted more extremist just point this out. Right wing positions haven't really changed at all since the 90's. If anything they've shifted left a bit.
