Blue has a lot of angry people that pretend to be nice and cheery.

Angry Red guys will call you a fucker straight up.

I prefer the honest version.

you're delusional if you think the raiding scene on both servers isn't equally terrible.

also i cant take seriously a guy this obsessed with raiding whose highest level is a 50 monk

i have raided on blue a little bit, im not obsessed over raiding at all. I honestly just like discussing things, hence why I am discussing them on these boards. I raided plenty on live im in no fucking hurry to join the clusterfuck at the end of the game on p99. I am not in highschool anymore man, I have a life with hobbies and a wife and shit this time around.

so you are saying the same guild has existed that dominated through all of the red server the whole time? I dont even need to play on red to know thats not true.

I cant take seriously a guy who cant phrase sentences properly. Also whos to say thats my max level toon, or only toon? maybe its just my sig? The point is when you assume things you make an ass out of u and me sir.

Played on Blue for seven months or so. Took a character to level 44, joined a start-up guild and played officer for a while. A "Raid" for us was Solusek's Eye.

Guild lost leadership to BDA, then pals stopped logging on and so did I. Sensed something bad was waiting for me if I continued to grind. This was well before I even knew what "raid classes" were.

Fast forward.

Rolled brand new on Red in October. Character is level 55 with bits of gear I would never have seen on Blue. I got murdered a ton as a low level, but kept on playing. The more fights I get in the more tricks I learn and the longer I draw out fights. Sometimes I even win.

I go to Fear, Sky, Hate... I kill Maestro and I kill Dracoliche. I group with friends and take down monsters for epic quest items. I protect my own when I see them being harassed and I hand off gear to new players that I so easily see myself in.

All that in less time than it took me to get to 44 on Blue.

congrats bro, your story has truly moved me. red is still dead, sub 200 pop. Go away

Ezalor 02-26-2015 01:52 PM

on red, an entire guild (nihilum) was disbanded by staff and the guild leader (nizzar) perma-banned across all accounts for getting caught running a RMT scheme on raid loot.

before getting disbanded, at least 1/2 of the total server pop was tagged in nihilum and they monopolized every single raid target for 2-3 years.

if you think that blue raiding scene is fucked, just wait until you play red.

explain to me why 200-300 population in a game (at this moment) where you need no more than 24 people max to do almost everything content wise is considered dead?

Man all this blue rage over the state of the red server. Keep it up guys. Any publicity is good publicity.

news flash: the raiding scene on both servers is flawed

on red, it is even more monopolized than it is on blue. you have one zerg guild (holocaust) which according to sirken comprises over 1/2 of the server population and downs literally 100% all raid targets with no variance. if your problem with blue is the raid scene, you're gonna have an even shittier time on red.

raiding is not the entire game of eq btw bruh. both servers will leave you dissappointed if you're not in the zerg guild, but at least on blue, you won't get griefed by a cesspool of sociopaths and subject to global ooc retardation while leveling 1-60

the difference is that on red things can and have changed in the raiding scene in relatively short periods of time (including now). you can /ignore OOC or place it in a separate box and only look at it when you want to. you can avoid the griefers with smart play. guilds and guild power changes all the time .

on blue you have one guild that has monopolized over 3 years of content and the only way to change that is to write 15 more pages of rules. you have people raiding with empty slots. the waiting on the cycles of rotation is idiotic. skill has been replaced by the amount of time you're willing to devote to staring at your screen waiting and playing like it's Second Life whether it's some raid mob or it's some silly camp you have to wait for another mouth-breather to release.

make friends early and join a guild instead of trying to be a solo PvP hero because it's not going to happen. you will see content and do things that aren't possible on blue unless you have 50kdkp in TMO.

and you just might have fun again.
