I wish I were Jewish like my friends Andrew and Sam. I am biologically Mexican but I am trans-Jewish which means I identify as Jewish and love Jewish things. My Mexican blood compels me to street race and means behind the wheel of a lowered CR-V I am unbeatable, but the other street racers don't understand when I celebrate my wins with matzoh balls and klezmer dancing. #OpenBordersForIsrael

Hey man, situational irony is funny.

Farmers protesting they don't pollute by driving diesel guzzling farm machinery is tragically funny.

Don't tell me you can't see the non-sequitur there?

Maybe in Holland they use Biodiesel and there is no real conflict. I drove a diesel vehicle through the Netherlands and don't remember this. That's right, I'm a hypocrite. Biodiesel often grown in a way that trashes biodiversity so its not perfect anyway... Okay, I'm going off on a tangent here...

In these issues there will be light hearted comments and more serious debate. A mix. You gotta approach life with a sense of humour my friend!

Pompeo says State Department officials won’t show up for impeachment depositions this week.

The statements came as the Secretary of State's role in the Ukraine investigation broadened with reports that he was a participant in the July 25 call by President Trump to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, which led to the impeachment investigation.

Before that report, Pompeo had brushed off questions about the incident, saying last week that he had not yet read the transcript of the telephone call released by the White House, or the whistleblower complaint that it sparked.

You are not understanding the situation correctly. It's not that they aren't polluting, it's that they are getting rammed in the ass by their government. Why are you always on the side of the big government ass ramming its natives? While that government increasingly squeezes their farmers I bet they are sending a lot of money to refugees.

Why are you always taking complicated situations and making them a black and white "if someone doesn't 100% agree with everything I say then they must be supporting big government"?

You're massively over extrapolating and reading into everyone posts and getting into fights with strawmen.

Honestly I look forward to all of your replies, because I never have any idea how you're going to react cos I have no idea how you are going to interpret my own posts then throw them under an electwrong microscope to zoom in on details and completely misconstrue them.

Being hit with tariffs = sad for that individual: I agree (and I'm sure you can agree that it's going to be sad for the UK when Brexit happens and we no longer have 0% trade tariffs for food with south Africa, most the Caribbean and so on until new deals are negotiated).

That doesn't mean protesting anti-pollution tariffs by being polluting isn't ironically funny. Identifying the irony of the situation doesn't mean I am a government stooge. That's one hell of a logical jump.
