Then would you agree that both sides of media have bias. Then you would come to the conclusion that both sides are undoubtedly using news to push stories that might not be completely true and have bias involved. Then would you believe that now you are arguing disingenuously stating the left has no bias and factual and the right is full of lies. Then you get to the point where you realize you have a political party that is deeply tied to 90% of the news organizations that just lost an election. Their opponent mocks them, hates them and reverses any of their policies. What would you do to stop him from winning again when you know its going to be a victory in his favor? And would it be moral? |
And to be honest, strategically, it is all the democrats have. You just put major stake into a candidate and prepped it for years. You downvoted Bernie to promote Hillary and told the country it was a landslide victory. Trump wins the election. Hillary steps down. Statistically a beaten opponent is not prone to win against an incumbent. If you want any chance for the 2020 election with your voter base so split currently, it's impeachment or else and for any reason.

Stop reading so many opinion pieces and get yourself out of the 24/7 news cycle. Make a friend, see some nature, try having compassion and empathy for something. Guarantee you won't be thumping your alt-right Bible if you just make a human connection.

That's pretty good advice. Life is better without politics and every time I check on them it's just something else bad like oh... I can't serve in the military now. Great.
America doesn't have enough brain cells left after 2016 to survive another election with trump on the ballot. I'd just switch off the news and let whatever catastrophe that's gonna happen happen. |

Have plenty of friends, shoot in 3 gun tournaments once a month, set up for deer season this year for bow and rifle with friends, just shot a group of hogs last week with a buddy, make close to 100K a year and just bought a home. Pretty stable and normal life. Sorry I don't fit what you imagined. Is hunting hogs not compassionate enough for you? Also wanted to add non religious - I find religion is metaphor for some valuable life lessons and what human beings have written over time as a guide to live your life. Some are powerful lessons, some are terrible. |
"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson

Yikes.

The overlap between 20 year old elf sim player and intellectually crippled redneck gun enthusiast is not one I would have imagined to exist.
