Rational or bigoted?

Don't see a good case in your favor of why you'd be good to judge someone who is rational.

Impotent rage. Involuntarily celibate. Sad/Mad/Bad.

Contrary to his supposed anti-socialism, Orwell actually took part in the revolutionary events which accompanied the Spanish Civil War, writing about it in his excellent book, Homage to Catalonia. In chapter one, he describes his experiences of Barcelona under workers’ control:

Quote:

Practically every building of any size had been seized by the workers and was draped with red flags or with the red and black flag of the Anarchists; every wall was scrawled with the hammer and sickle and with the initials of the revolutionary parties… All this was queer and moving. There was much in it that I did not understand, in some ways I did not even like it, but I recognized it immediately as a state of affairs worth fighting for.

The Spanish war and other events in 1936-37 turned the scale and thereafter I knew where I stood. Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism, as I understand it.
Orwell follows a similar line of argument again in his 1941 essay ‘The Lion and the Unicorn: Socialism and the English Genius:'

Quote:

We cannot win the war without introducing Socialism, nor establish Socialism without winning the war... The difference between Socialism and capitalism is not primarily a difference of technique. One cannot simply change from one system to the other as one might install a new piece of machinery in a factory, and then carry on as before, with the same people in positions of control. Obviously there is also needed a complete shift of power. New blood, new men, new ideas – in the true sense of the word, a revolution.

George Orwell was a socialist.

No kidding George Orwell was a socialist. That was the point. Even someone as a socialist is saying the word has no meaning. You idiots still think it does. It can apply to anyone trying to create an authoritarian government. That can be pressed on the idea of socialism or it can be pressed for Nationalism. They are almost one in the same.

I can pull all the posts about you decrying feminism, sexist, against LGBTQ or any other group when you don't actually know if they are or not. So by default, you are obsessed with assuming people are against race or sex for what? Do you have some disorder that if someone mentions sex or race you must be the SJW to call them a racist or sexist? Are you LGBTQ and want to stand up for them? Who choose you to judge whether someone is racist or not and what that line is? Curious minds would like to know otherwise ....I personally can hear someone negatively talk about a sex, race or anything else, even if it's my own race and I don't feel the need to correct them. You do. Why?

Yes, language is fluid. Who cares what pejoratives people use to describe your reprehensible behavior and why does it matter if I'm LGBTQ?

I wonder if you catch the irony of the definition of insanity and stupidity. You can post the same thing over and over, they aren't getting any funnier.

Nice deflect. Whenever you deflect, it's an obvious failure to come up with something rational. I don't care but again I ask why do you think you are the guy that needs to do it? The reason it matters if you are LGBTQ is I am wondering why you have declared yourself the white knight? I'm all for being an advocate if that is your origin or lifestyle but if you aren't.....How do I know you are representing correctly? And I know there are Trans here in this community. Are you telling me you know their experience more than them and you are the vocal voice? You can do whatever you want obviously but self reflection is key to progress.

And to answer on your avatar. It's the anime. I never was into it, think a lot of adult children watch anime and it's marketed for teens and children. My opinion is that most adult men that watch anime are either feminine or immature. That would probably compete for my love with video games but I enjoy games for competitive aspect, skill level and that you control it.

Splitting hairs to pretend you're not misogynistic, transphobic, and racist. Have some dignity like your boy Hippler.

Yeah very. I don't communicate well with others. Don't work in a job that pays me 100K per year. Didn't just buy a home. Have 0 friends of any other ethnicity. Didn't grow up in Charlotte, NC.

I'd say youre the coward. Arguing disingenuously and can't find an argument to stand but to resort to trying to actually profile me. It's funny because Cecily's comment was profile me next but you guys already profile someone when they make one comment. "I support Trump." It isn't a profile either, it's fact. Dumbasses.
