You're right it's not equivalent. Katie Hill was actually making her staffers munch her box and there's scores of evidence of it. Meanwhile,the "attempted rape" never happened, nor was there ever any evidence of it.

So, CNN's handling of these cases is backwards, as shouldn't be a surprise at this point.
