Lindsey Graham says the White House directed block of Armenian genocide resolution. As he was leaving the Oval Office, senior White House staff asked him to return to the Senate and block the Armenian genocide resolution, a measure that would have infuriated Erdoğan.

Is it very hypocritical for Cohen to call out media and specifically breitbart when there are leftist news organizations that do the exact same thing? Yes. Is it ironic for him to act as though he is the whistleblower and white knight when he has ruined peoples lives through his TV series and movies? Yes. We should not be taking advice from Cohen. He is good at comedy, he isn't good at dictating which way the nation should be lead or any beacon of moral fairness.

If you haven't watched all of his content from the original Ali G series on HBO to his movies, the guy has hit bigotry in every form. Made fun of gays - Check. Made fun of jews and gypsies. Check. Made fun of the middle east. Check. Made fun of Africa and had a child shipped through the airport as a joke. Check.

I think the thing Teppler is asking for is consistency. If something is racist, it is racist across the board and still only subject to your opinion.

Kind of. I’m passed the point of pleading for fairness. I just like to point out the elites as hypocrites now. You aren’t going to reason with these types. But you can show them off as the sleaze bags they are.

Sounds like you don't know any history of black face. Allow me to educate you. Watch Howard Stern and Sara Silverman do blackface and see what it's all about-

Now I'll show you how you are a hypocrite further with those viewpoints Jim. Imagine the shoe on the other foot.

Imagine someone not jewish doing the most offensive jewish stereotypes possible while dressing up as them. Real venomous stuff. Pushing them as controlling everything with money, pedophiles, subversive but if the main joke is on interviewer, it's all kosher? This would not fly in Hollywood. Anything remotely anti semitic gets destroyed and never sees the light of day. Try and figure out why the double standard exists and what Sasha Cohen is doing.

You seen to have misunderstood my post, and i have to take some of the blame for that.

When I said 'Mitchell and Webb didnit well' it was supposed to read 'did it well'.

I'm giving examples of how I think black face can be done acceptably, not just blanket dismissing it nor endorsing it. Nothing is so simple.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has also done blackface and nobody got mad at them because they aren't hate-fueled bigots.

Use a black disguise as a vehicle to do whatever. Are you aware most people that have done black face have attempted to do it for this reason?

Do you think poor middle easterners enjoy borats portrayal of them as backwards racist non sensical trash?

I rather enjoyed borat. Also, Kazakhstan is Central Asia. Not the same as us dumb dumb

I hate to agree with Tep slightly, but the initial gypsy village scenes in Borat are quite racist and perhaps a gentile wouldn’t have gotten away with showing them so derisively in a movie

I actually don't care for that episode or the Ali G show for that matter, and I certainly don't love black face.

For what it's worth I think Borat was very dangerous and damaging. Even if it was fun to laugh at ignorant americans. And that just exposes me as ignorant as I bought the narrative of 'Americans are ignorant and don't know about foreign nations or cultures'.

And I’ll point out again, all his characters are some derivative of black face. And he has the balls to preach censorship about dangerous nasty speech.

Most Americans are ignorant and don't know very much about foreign nations or cultures.
