I support social programs but you aren’t realizing they are putting you in a spin.

We can take care of American citizens if we do it right. What is not possible is taking care of the entire world via opening up immigration, illegal and otherwise.

One or the other take your pick. Trying both at once, which we are doing, which you largely support, is playing right into the elites hands. Get off Drumph for a moment and let’s have a real discussion here.

Who is "they"

Teppler 11-26-2019 12:34 PM

The elites that are not paying taxes.

Do you really need to ask when you're speaking with Teppler?

true that you using Breitband as reference?

I mean I know that CNN sucks as much as Fox News, but Breitband is like wearing a foil hat already.

No, not true. I haven't really referenced any news here minus maybe like 3 stories from the left that counter the arguments they are having on other left news sources. I think I've gone to Breitbart maybe like 5 times in my life. I think the sources that Horza uses like The Daily Beast are the equivalent. Go to the page and it's a bunch of conspiracy theories from people on the left. No other legitimate news, just smear campaigns. I'm just not the idiot calling out Breitbart and not acknowledging the elephant in the room that the left has equivalent.

On the comment of Bezo's donating more and that being why Republicans donate more annually. The connection isn't there. Yes, the wealthy utilize donations as tax write offs on both parties.

Bezo's is actually more of a democrat. He has donated to low levels of government for Democrats. The reason why Republicans donate more is because in rural areas, people are more inclined to donate for a school programs, food drives or for church. If you have a sense of community, you are more inclined to donate.

"This idea of purity and you're never compromised and you're always politically woke, and all that stuff, you should get over that quickly," Obama said.

Think this applies to a few here.

California spends $500,000 per unit on homeless housing, while Houston spends about $20,000 per unit per annum. It really depends, but it certainly is not “our duty” to support corrupt Machine politics in states without sane management. California and Illinois are horribly mismanaged at almost all levels, while Texas somehow keeps an 80% obese diabetic Hispanic population housed clothed and fed

really makes you think

Zeboim 11-26-2019 02:53 PM

That shouldn't surprise you, a single room shotgun shack in California costs $600k and they're doing new construction. Houston's giant dystopian nightmare sprawl makes housing cheap by comparison and there's abundant stock for rock bottom prices.

Houston is not more sprawling than LA. Hope this helps. I can buy a lot of bullets for $500,000 and really clean up the homeless problem in Cali

feniin 11-26-2019 03:08 PM

Houston is garbage. Nobody should want to live there.

Kaveh 11-26-2019 03:10 PM

Yeah, they aren’t sending their best, that’s for sure
