They absolutely hate the idea of America knowing who is coming in and having a choice about who to accept or not.

It’s a viewpoint where they take advantage of America. Where they act like Americas tax revenue is for the entire world to enjoy and not for the betterment of America and Americans.

You don't have to pander to them.

Treating them like people instead of screaming about them like they're animals and blaming them for all of your problems is a good start. Especially with Hispanics, who have a quite conservative and community oriented culturally. But once you start to make them scapegoats for our own self inflicted wounds you drive then away pretty effectively.

That’s great for Hispanic immigrants. Illegal immigrants are committing a crime by being here and stealing. And you want to get down on your knees and beg for their help while they do that. Sickening treason.

Morally, illegal immigration is wrong. We have legal means where we can track foreigners that want to come in. They go through a process where they learn about america and pay their dues. This makes them invested. Having open borders is chaos and destructive. This also allows to take in who we want, when we want. How is that not the best situation for America? Do we not have needy low class Americans of our own that need to be taken care of?

They come because of the demand for their services.

They, like immigrants always have been, are a function of the labor market. Take steps in the labor market to resolve it or it never will be. Mischaracterizing all Dems as wanting open borders just tosses this argument to the dogs and stupidity. As long as people can hire illegals, get caught doing it and the illegal be punished instead of them they will always be lured by the opportunities no matter how many useless walls you build both physical and legal.
