I thought this "Teams Server" was the Next server to come online?? :confused:

They changed their minds after seeing what sort of population red attracted.

1. Recycle server is a minimum of 2-3 years from now, much longer if the kunark era has taught us anything.

2. Playing on the recycle server isn't a requirement, I doubt everyone will play on it. Personally I'm just looking at it as a way to get free manastones down the line :D

3. You might want to play a mage now, 2-3 years from now? You might find yourself wanting to play something else. People make alts for a reason :3

4. All characters from the recycle server will eventually be merged into the current blue server (from what they said on stream anyway), so technically THIS is where all characters end up anyway!

5. profit!?

It's silly to not want to play p99 because recycle99 might be coming out in the distant distant future. If you just started then there's no guarantee you'll even be playing when that comes out - just play what you want now and enjoy the experience. If Re99 does come out at some point, im sure by then you'll be interested in an alt.

I'm going to make a toon on the recycled sever and do nothing but camp manastones 24/7.

When the merge hits = Profit.

I'm sure I'm the only one who has thought of this, so don't tell anyone.

I hope they ban the trading of Re-99 goods/services/Platinums for Red/Blue platinum.

Allowing people to continue trading between blue and red already is pretty lame. But on a fresh server that is intended to give people a fresh start, people with millions in the bank at the end of Blue Velious shouldn't be able to buy stuff with that plat on the new server.

Also new server players shouldn't be motivated to farm Manastones on the new server, and sell them for blue plat. Atleast unless you want to sell them after it gets merged back in.
