Why does RnF have to be EQ related? We don't post it here because of the content. We post it here because of the fewer restrictions on how we can discuss it. You are fucking up what little was good here.

Barkingturtle 05-16-2015 05:45 PM

To avoid being moved to Off Topic I don't think a thread needs to be EQ related so long as you use the word fuck a lot, probably. Cat threads obviously belong somewhere else, though, because there is no anger. No rants. No flames. Just cats being cats.

More experiments are needed to say for certain. Really it's an exciting time to be a scientist in the dick-shit-fart-fuck field.

Conversely, enough RnF pizazz in a non-RnF topic should get it moved here. It's a question of equilibrium. All young doctors need to publish their thesis on F-bomb fusion in our beloved gif thread to get it moderated back here.

Then why do you come off as upset over what I said? Also my post was in no way an attempt to bash any of the staff. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear, I'd just like to see a higher standard for professionalism among the staff of p99 that is even keel.

By all means please do start taking moderation more seriously. It's been a long time needed.

Just that they're doing it in the same manner they did before. Behind the scenes how ever they want with little to no structure for the public to see.

There is no conspiracy behind it. Now, what about that is "behind the scenes"

Can you please link me the post by a staff member that indicates what you said in the quote? Otherwise it seems like this decision was made "behind the scenes".

Why dont all of you start your own no rules, no moderation forum site? Seems like you already know all of the finer points of running a successful forum.

Who cares? Why do they have to address the community every time they make a decision? Are you a majority shareholder or something?

You literally just quoted Sikorski, a staff member, explaining out in the open what is expected of the forums.

You need earlier precedent or something? This isn't a court of law. It's a shitty forum where neckbeards, dickheads, shitstains and one funny dude(me) post meaningless crap. It's just not important enough to warrant a post every time some policy is updated, particularly when addressing an issue which has been glaring as long as this one has.

It's not hard to make a stickied post and update it every once in a while.

In fact it would involve much less effort/time from the staff than the past few weeks that the staff has been flailing about in a desperate attempt to justify their demonstrably shitty decisions.
