Psychedelics get a pass because you aren't taking it to just escape. And even if you are, there is still an amount of woke that's distilled from the experience which sets higher purpose.

exigent circumstances. I actually don't consider psychotropics and psychedelics to be "drugs". Although there are certainly people abusing them as "drugs".

btw I was just kidding about the bourbon ;) It does help in some cases with composing music, if not abused, but writing imo just gets tangled if more than just a drink or two. I mean for fiction writing, but research writing or non-fiction, well you want to be pretty clear headed. I don't know if you are speaking of fiction or non-fiction though, I assume fiction as that's more the risk of writers block. Block can be from anything, even diet, maybe more so. Just depends on the person. Do something else for a bit, eat some healthier foods, watch TV less and read a book out in the sunshine or something (with paper hehe).
