Really cool event, thank you guys! Only suggestion if I could offer one is to not make the gifts lore. If you're soloing in a remote location it's not time feasible to stop every time you get a gift to find another player, usually in a different zone to give them just one gift then return to your spot. Also you can lose your camp, etc. But still, lots of fun overall!

They drop off any mob I assume, I have been getting them off blue con mobs to my character and Ive gotten 3 so far
Its no drop but you can target other people to receive whatever the gift is so from the sounds of it you get better prizes if you give them to someone Arrange a trade between friends who have unopened gifts, you give them yours they give you theirs and see if the gifts are better My best item so far is a flawless diamond that i opened for myself other then that its been cookies and lumps of coal |
Looted a few gifts now but I have yet to see any snow elves. Are they static spawns or popping up randomly?

Is there a lower level limit for mobs to drop gifts? If you create a level 1 character and kill like 10 level 1 mobs in a couple minutes is that more efficient than killing mobs with your level 50+ chars? Sorry it’s hard for me to not try to min-max this.

Got 2-3 presents very quickly a few days ago, have now done 20-23 without another present dropping which is quite surprising. I hope it's just a run of bad luck on my end

Are giants excluded from the loot bonus? I mean other than the heaps and heaps of delicious silver and copper and low-level items. At one point I think there were five ice giants in a row that dropped ZERO plat and upwards of 75 gold, 125 silver and 170 copper. No giant dropped more than its usual 49p. So I assume the bonus doesn't apply to giant plat drops.
