Paris accord withdraw happens in 2020, so we're still bound to it until then; but, yes, multinational corporations have to make that climate effort in order to not potentially irritate potential customers. Exxon is starting a review of the potential effects of climate change and Exxon's role within it because their investors voted to do so. Mainly, Trump did it to appease the coal miners, but that won't happen until 2020 and there are still massive natural gas deposits that are being harvested worldwide which has cut back global coal demand significantly.
