The real problem is that some people play this game like a job. In any amateur sport you'd like to win, but you tell the other guy good game if he beats you. It's almost as though some people have something to gain by controlling all loot on the server after they haven't needed it for at least a year...
If I met any of you in RL we'd probably be friends.
