They nerfed all the others, that one merely slipped through the cracks. Probably the only reason it's still available is the admins aren't around enough to do anything about it in rapid fashion. Use it while you can but it's prudent to prepare for a possible nerf.

I wouldn't be so sure as the developers chose the post classic recharge rate of 26.5k for the scepters when it should be 6gp.

I'm not sure, and none of us are, that's the point. Use it while we have it, whether we have it for two months, two years, or forever. Have a plan for if it goes away--always a good idea on P1999.

Agreed, and more to that point I suggest not sharing that plan, as I had one of these scepters, and totems in my bags for years before the "nerf", because they had situational use cases (stun, snare). The others like it which I will not utter here.

P99 really falls apart post 50 in the grouping department unless you can charm. Its pretty much mandatory to make some friends or you can expect to slog through KC for the next 500 hours of game play to reach 60

i love epic 2h, the only reason i don't use it as much is i always have this weird mentality that dual wield has higher chance to proc

the game is so old that one can gradually acquire all the weapons available and get a pretty good sense of what is viable under different circumstances - by then it's just a matter of personal preference: the look, the animation, the stats, whatever.

Yeah that's exactly my fear as well - i feel like DPS likes to go banana sandwich on stuff right away, amd I'm worried that if I don't get an early proc I'll be the guy saying "please wait!"

I recommend two primal weapons in just about every situation outside of tanking.
