Need your support for Extra Life 2014! Play Games. Heal Kids.

Hail, fellow P99ers!

On October 25th I will be participating in a 24-hour gaming marathon called Extra Life. The event's main focus is to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by bringing the social community built around gaming together for an incredible cause.

I have pledged to live-stream for 24-hours starting at 8AM CDT on Saturday, October 25th. In addition to Project 1999 I'll be playing some Gauntlet, Tribes: Ascend, Heroes of the Storm and whatever else people would like to see. I'm not even sure if I can hack it for 24-hours straight anymore, so I will definitely need some people keeping me company! If you're interested in hanging out, you can find my stream here: http://www.twitch.tv/norova

As the point of this event is to raise money for the children, I encourage you to consider making a donation on my Extra Life page: http://www.extra-life.org/participant/ryancain. You can make a gift of any amount, and you can even make a small gift that repeats monthly for an even greater overall impact on my fundraising success. If you aren't around on the 25th to hang out, that's no sweat, you can donate any time! My initial fundraising goal is $250, but I am stoked to bump it up if I can!

You can find out more about Extra Life on their site at www.extra-life.org and their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/ExtraLife4Kids

Thank you so much! Hope to see some of you on the 25th!

Mods, I looked around first and I'm not sure if this sort of fundraising post is permitted. Please remove it if I'm breaking any rules!

Yes it is :) Good eye!

Oh man you're in BDA too.

Too bad I'm inactive now - we could have gushed over all things 2 wheels over vent.

I'm on a 06 ninja 650r currently, deciding whether to go up to a litre or get a triumph 675 next year.

Nice!! I've been keeping my eyes open for a reasonably priced Ducati Streetfighter in this area. Love those 675s! I'd love to own any Triumph, but top pick would be a pre-2011 Speed Triple S.

Have you seen the new Scrambler Ducati is planning to release? Thing's awesome looking, kinda weak, but awesome.

(Top pick would be Ninja H2, bahah)

I'll be sure to tune into your gaming thing at least for a couple hours.

Off topic, but...

Looks like an 04-05 ish?

I've got an '05 GSXR 600 set up for the track and an '05 Anniversary GSXR 750 for road. I had an '06 GSXR 1000 for the track as well but wadded it a couple times and ended up selling it for parts instead of fixing it the last time.

I'm sure there has to be a few more 2-wheel warriors around here - either sport bike or cruiser types. With my bikes I like fast with good handling. I like my muscle in my cars.

Hop on by if you can, Zad!

-TK- it's an '06. :)

I had a 2008 special edition Daytona 675....incredible bike, highly recommend. Only reason I sold it and got my 08 hayabusa was cause it was a lot more comfortable for the wife on trips.
