Ew what a horrible website to get free software from. If you want to connect to the IRC chat room and you use Mozilla, I recommend that you install Mozilla's free extention. Just search for Chatzilla

I use xchat, it works fine. Another popular client is MirC.

6667 is the correct port, i'm in there right now.
