I buy low and sell items high in EC. It's not hard to take a free item (Dwarven Work Boots in this case) and turn that into 10k.

EDIT: I see people drop their prices low on week nights and late night (when I mostly play) and that's when I swoop in on the best deals.

Not to mention, how do you know I didn't sell my old account for pp and then create a new one?
