EQ stopped working after attempting to patch
 

Please help!

I attempted to unzip the latest patch into my EQ folder and when I ran the program, it gave me an error message (screenshot attached).

Anyone have any idea or ways I could fix it?

Thats a new mesage, never seen that before, usually.if youre having problems with the pat h it will show on the character select screen. are you using the titanium install? how are you launching the game?

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, Im using the Titanium install. I'm launching the game with the "Launch Titanium.bat"

try toedit the launch path of a eqgame.exe shortcut to read "eqgame.exe patchme" and try to launch from that. what patch files are you using? there has been a little trouble with some patch files for sone abd other patch files for others. if you are using v49b try these instead

Tried all of the above with no luck.
Guess the only thing left to do is fresh install?

I had to do a fresh install after patch as well. I'm not sure if it was required or not but it seemed like after i did everything possible i could think of and a fresh install i got it to work. make sure you save out your eqclient.ini and your character UI ini files. I forgot to save mine out and had to reconfigure absolutly EVERYTHING and it was kinda lame.

You didnt mention your Operating system? What are you using?

Windows 10 home 64x

Have you made sure that you OS has DSETUP.dll whitelisted ? so ot doesmt get flagged from your antivirus?
