Project 1999 - Miscellaneous: Vox, Nagafen, Ragefire

Piggybacking off this thread.

Uncertain as to whether any of these dragons have the potential to drop three of their specific scales, but have yet to personally see or be told about any amount higher than two. Some of the comments below are out of era and are only included to corroborate those that are classic. Likely more concrete evidence will be found and posted at a later date.

hmmm i really wonder if you guys had bards. I think its BS if you did have bards and you didnt give them the scales....It's like giving the green scale to a mage, or a haste item to a wizard. It's stupid, obviously i dont know if you had bards in there or not, but my guess is yes, unless people are way more powerful these days and dont need bards for the resists(still unlikely) But yeah if there was a bard and he didnt get it, if i were that bard i would never go onto any of your raids... Oh yeah and one white scale off Vox is pretty damn rare, 3 is unreal. I personally never saw it drop off Vox and still dont have one.

Went on Nagafen Raid a week ago, killed him. I personally looted off Nagafen: CoF, and three (3) Red Dragon Scales. They are not NO DROP. I of course lost all the rolls on this loot, so it's probably the only time I will ever hold in my possession a CoF.*cry*

Finished Aorthin's epic this evening. Grats to Aorthin for the water sprinkler! Ragefire also dropped 3 red dragon scales. Would have preferred 3 cloak of flames. From there, we did a bit more epic work in the Hole.
