Wizard solo in velks
 

Can a 55 wiz solo the spiders in velks for the shawl quest or is this over ambitious? Planning on root nuking since theres not enough room to quad.

You can probably solo them, one at a time, with no resists or adds. This would be horribly boring and would take forever. Two better options exist.

1) bring/join a group already doing spiders.
2) ask any group doing spiders that won't let you join if you can loot the no drop stuff. Takes about 2 hours to get them all doing it this way.

find a bard to pull them all and u blow them up.

Duo with literally any class that can help you manage breaks. Killing them is possible but down time would be atrocious. Getting whacked between root breaks (and you can expect a lot of them relying solely on DD nukes) will be the biggest obstacle.

The mobs in Velketors have high hp, so wizards do not fare well in this zone. One time though a bard was swarm kiting spiders at the zl in that tight space, and my aoe's were very effective :P
