Shaman Question- Frenzy
 

I know this line of spells was nerfed a while ago. How often does everyone use it? I'm currently level 20 and the mana drain just doesn't seem worthwhile.

Never used it once since they nerfed it. Really cannot see a viable purpose for it.

The only time I found it worthwhile was when I was level 18 or so and had C2 and haste from a level 60 enchanter. Kept Frenzy up for the regen, and killed stuff constantly. Clicked it off when I needed mana to cast a spell.

But, yeah, outside of that very unique situation, it's basically useless.

If you are already LOM and need and it looks like melee will have to make the difference, then it isn't a bad spell. Unfortunately, keeping it memmed for such an eventuality is pretty much a waste of a spell slot since there are usually more important things to keep memmed.

Pretty much the only time I've used it is when I'm going to be rezzed and I know the cleric is LoM. Mem it before you get the rez, cast it and soon as you zone (assuming you didn't re-ding with the rez), and leave it up while you loot your corpse and regen health for a bit. After you get a few hps you'll want to click it off and start cannibalizing.
