Half Elf velious fashion bugged with patch
 

Half Elf velious plate is now showing like fine steel. Started today.

It's not just Half Elves (which I can also verify as Ranger SS Chain looks very different). Halfing Druids are having the same issues - my guess is this problem affects all Velious armor.

Yep, all Velious armor graphics are borked.

This was not an intentional change.

Looking into the issue and will post an update when we find out what happened.

Does this occur on all servers, or one specifically?

Additionally, do you have the following entries in your eqclient.ini file?

Mine states:

LoadArmor17=FALSE
LoadArmor18=FALSE
LoadArmor19=FALSE
LoadArmor20=FALSE
LoadArmor21=FALSE
LoadArmor22=FALSE
LoadArmor23=FALSE

I couldn't find a line for armor240

I can only speak for blue server (I don't have any velious armor on green) but it's definitely defaulted back to classic graphics on blue. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help

Velious textures are working on my green iksar warrior (otter hide armour sleeves and wrist).

These textures are loaded despite the fact that my eqclient has the following settings:

LoadArmor17=FALSE
LoadArmor18=FALSE
LoadArmor19=FALSE
LoadArmor20=FALSE
LoadArmor21=FALSE
LoadArmor22=FALSE
LoadArmor23=FALSE

(armor240 also missing).

I presently get the old world graphics (P1999-blue) whether or not I change the .ini entries to "TRUE" or "FALSE"--I tried it both ways. I also tried reverting the patch to the v54 version of the dsetup.dll (in case some tinkering with that was the culprit) but that didn't affect it either. Traditionally P1999 has forced the Velious graphics regardless of the local .ini settings. I do not have access to any Velious items on "Green" to test it there.
