Shaman Epic - a lesser spirit not spawning when peg leg killed
 

BLUE server - This quest mob seems to be bugged. the spirit is suppose to spawn every time Pegleg is killed from my understanding. it has not been.

Epics aren't released yet. They are September 2000 ish.

I'd be curious if any of the other NPCs are working (IIRC there are 3-4 different mobs that can spawn the spirit, and Pegleg is just one).

this is true. just peg leg is the easiest to get to. unfortunately i dont have the time to test all of them. however i went 4 kills before he spawned

I spawned a peg leg on blue, killed it, and a lesser spirit spawned.

Are you sure there's not another lesser spirit up somewhere else that someone is using to get gems from? I know pegleg is commonly pulled to the druid ring and killed there so you can get multiple gems from the spirit while farming shaman epic faction. Pegleg respawns much faster than it takes for the lesser spirit to despawn.

yeah, that is what I was doing. killed him ~8 times and only 2 spirits spawned
