Blue power, Troll despair

Trolls were traditionally barred from winning the Miss Norrath beauty pageant because Dark Elf chicks were considered much more beautiful.

After much campaigning though Trolls were finally allowed to win the Miss Norrath beauty pageant and a Troll called Umfufu became the first Troll in Norrathian history to be crowned the most beautiful girl in Norrath.

"I'm more beautiful than everybody!" Umfufu said in her historic victory speech.

Asked what she was going to do with her new found celebrity status Umfufu replied,

"I'm going to create a Troll only beauty pageant!".

From segregration to celebration

After Troll victory came the Miss Troll Norrath beauty pageant.

This coveted Troll only beauty pageant which every girl wants to win is a testimony to Troll beauty because Trolls always win it (Dark Elf girls are green with envy).

Incredibly, the first Troll to win Miss Troll Norrath was none other than the winner of Miss Norrath; Umfufu.

The future

A campaign to allow fatties to win the Mr Norrath body building competition is underway and a new bodybuilding tournament which only allows fatties to enter is in the works. There is also talk of toothless uglies being allowed to win the annual Best Teeth competition.

It's game, set and match for women's equality

Finally, after years of injustice, female athletes were finally paid the same as men in this year's Norrath Open Gnome throwing championship held in West Commonlands.

This is what chief event organiser and women's rights activist Connie Lingus had to say on the matter,

"It's very simple; female athletes are identical to male athletes so they should both get paid the same amount and thanks to my campaign to bring awareness to unfair pay practices in sport now they do. This is both a victory for norrathkind and a victory for fans of the sport!"

In the men's singles, number 2 seed Kenny Dewitt won after tossing 7450 Gnomes in 11 hours and five minutes in front of a record breaking sized crowd.

Kenny Dewitt was handed 950KPP and a trophy for his victory.

In the women's singles, number 3255 seed Kanesha Lachelle won after tossing 56 Gnomes in 1 hour and 32 minutes before giving up.

I remember being a kid with my level 7 monk in blackburrow, terrified of this huge train that was rolling through. It slammed into a mid-level geared out troll sk at the bridge, who was tanking the entire thing as others picked it apart

I remember looking at that troll sk and thinking that is the coolest character I had ever seen in an online RPG game

Beauty is an abstract concept

If you think video games look better now than they did before then think again because it's impossible to improve an abstract concept.

Some people think that video games looked much better 40 years ago than they do today and that's because beauty is an abstract concept.

You might be wondering why resolutions, texture maps, polygon count, and video memory have all increased in size over the years. and the answer is very simple; it's to make video games look 'more modern' because looking 'more modern' is not an abstract concept like looking 'more beautiful' is.

Everybody agrees video games today look more modern than they did 40 years ago but not everybody agrees they look better and it's the same with black & white television vs color television. Some people think that a 144p resolution black and video image is far better quality than a full color 8k resolution video image and that's because beauty is an abstract concept.

Victorian and Edwardian architectural styles aren't abstract concepts.

Beauty is though.

If it wasn't then you would see people making an effort to care of themselves and improve on things and attempting to do the best they can.
