Ro's fiery sundering Spell?
 

I have been camping Ro's fiery sundering for weeks. Is it really supposed to be this rare of a spell? The drop rate on spells seems way off to original EQ. I spent 4 days in EW on a mob that is reported to drop the spell. I spent 12 days in Tower of frozen shadow and had Garou on lock down every 18 hours. In that time I have seen 4 necro spells 1 enchanter spell and 1 mage spell. Seems the drop rate though rare is a bit off. Im 57 and clear a lot of mobs. I have seem the rare items 2 or 3 times from named but no ro's? Is the drop rate correct or am I that unlucky?

found a few in crystal caverns when I was there

Garou definitely has a chance to drop it, I've killed him 1 time and he dropped it but it was maybe a year ago. Any mob that drops Wandering Mind, assuming that's the Enchanter spell you got, should also have a chance to drop Ro's.

It's a random drop from tons of random mobs so it's hard to camp something like that.

Velious level 39 spells drop more commonly in the higher floors of TOFS. I've had the best luck from the ice shades on 6. That said, they're still spotty drops.

You're not missing much. I almost never use this spell. It gets resisted just as often as other fire dots, so you might end up chain casting this to get it to land and spending as much mana as what a second cast of Breath of Ro would have cost.
