Green: Plane of Sky and Spell: Summon Corpse

Hey all,

We've just done a quick reboot of the Splitpaw zone on Green. With this reboot we are implementing the following:

Spell: Summon Corpse is now a /list item. This will exist until Kunark. You must be a level 39 or higher Necromancer to join. You must not currently own the spell (Inventory or Scribed). The lockout is permanent. Anyone who has already looted the spell has been retroactively locked out.

Additionally, we are delaying the opening of the Plane of Sky until August 14th.

list is bugged

we just got a couple necros down there, they dont have the spell, have never had it in their possession. They cant join the list and are lvl 50. They have petitioned about it.

Why

Just curious, not trying to be a pain in the butt, but why is this spell being treated different than class specific epic components.. why aren’t they changed like this? I mean it sure would be nice if guilds couldn’t be greedy for years locking down epics and equipment that only fill their bank coffers. Just feels like heavy catering to the poop sock raiding guilds.

I'm just here to harvest the salt.

Has the spell been dropping on the Ishva kills since July (Dec 1999 era)?? If so, bugged obviously, if not -- perhaps they delayed its dropping until Jan 2000 era.
