This would solve everything! Make it a true legacy item. No more "omg i need to farm this to sell for my EQ retirement in 5 years" insanity.

It becomes an item that those who can use it....go to get....and play the game.

Lists aint classic! In classic you could actually camp stuff level appropriate....instead of needing to be over-leveled for the content to be able to be on the list.

Nor is knowing an item will be "taken off the spawn tables in 3 months and worth many platinums in years down the line when the server merges with a larger server with inflated economy".

No drop is the only solution!!! and also I want to see the superneckbeards heads explode when they realize they can't mule the items :D

What madness is this? You mean I would be farming it to actually use it and not stand in the tunnel for hours on end years later selling it for silly amounts of plat? What is this ‘play the game’ you speak of? I thought this was an economy simulator.

make literally everything no drop and roleplay mandatory and you get BANNED if you dont stay in character

I've been saying this since it was introduced. Should have made it level 40 and manastone no drop

They've tweaked a few things, haven't they? Necros aren't quite the same as they were in original EQ, for example.

I don't see why they can't change a few things that would improve the game, like group xp bonuses, class xp penalties, and perhaps making some items no drop.

These changes wouldn't even alter the way the game plays. It'd still feel as classic as it ever did.
