There will be a GM Event tonight (January 1st). Details will be announced on the server as the event starts.

Will lower level characters be able to participate? Edit: I wanted to imply do lower level players stand a fair chance to participate in the event 100%

Yes. From what I understand, in classic the GMs would port any higher lvl characters out of zone if they attempted to participate in the GM events that where not meant for their level.

Any kind of rough time of when the event will start?

Hopefully this results in the opening of the Plane of Hate :)

Event was pretty balanced from what I saw there were lover level gnolls that had high hp but hit for lower damage for other lower groups to take.

And then you had the lowbie guys ninja looting planar loot from guilds' kills.

Shouldn't be a big deal considering you already have them fully farmed and need new planes released.

Edit: And just to clarify I am only trolling Reiker not the GM's. Events are always appreciated and I wish I would have made it and gotten owned by some cool baddie.
