Every onc ein awhile i come on here to drop a drunken post (maybe 6 in the last 10 years?)

But im writing to say, WTF why isnt there a new server? I poste to the private dev chat 10 years ago, the next server, if it's ever created, should be TEAMS and have CONTROLS. like. for example: %based states and resists, according to the current population. vallon/tallon teams style. so i fneuts have the least population, they get stat boosts based on current ppoluation. so if they are only 25%of the server, they get 7 to all stats and resists (or something like that, whatever make it balanced).

teams because that's what blues (and casuals, and who doesn't want to be casual?) want. and MAC address/IP/ISP/ROgean-TRACKING-TECHNOLGY whatever it takes to ensure 1 person per team. so no one creating lvl 1 cleric spies on the opposite team training etc. just.. the team you start with is the team you get. and no fucking around.

if accouts were paid for and this system enacted, im sure there would be a really thriving environment. i dont knw about item loot or not. not all the details of this fantasy have been thoroughly processed. but at least for me, i think it's a start.

i would log in to slay newbs again.


(and yes, there are no newbs, this is a 20+ year old game anyone playing is doing it for the love, or is their kids... o wait, 20 years out of the game? newb again. i know i wanna be)

PS to all the haters: ya. maybe i was always a newb. dont have to squawk about it. i loved the game but havent seen it in so long..................... i could start nostalgiaing names and times but this has aready happened once or twice i think.

Come post in this thread for team teams. Personally im not against teams per se, more that it needs some thinking and tweaking beforehand where u can just launch FFA red 2.0 as is and it works, no thinking involved.
