Project 1999 - Spells: Wizard Tears line of spells are usually resisted if used on more than one target

Perhaps this is superstition, but there seems to be a hard coded limit on how many rains you can land before they start being auto resisted. I'm not sure what resets this, but refreshing snare nor landing melee hits certainly don't break the combo. Perhaps it is a time based thing? or just coincidence?

Just as evidence, I went to sea fury island to experiment there.

Sea furies con blue to my 52 wizard.

Here is a truncation of a typical fight trying to kill a blue con with rain. It starts okay, then just stops landing at all for about 20 waves.

Note I ran out of C and time on the second fight so had to finish the mob with a normal nuke after snare broke. Again 8 hits from the waves then just a huge string of resists.

I think the max 8 hits per cast has somehow been corrupted to be 8 hits max spread across several casts. Perhaps until 8x4 waves have happened?
