No character models
 

I thought I just posted this, but it isnt even showing up under my forum profile so... if this is a double post please delete.

Ive read the tech FAQ and can't find anything about it. But I've got a new laptop and installed everything just fine, can log into game no problem, however I have zero character models. Nothing even tries to load, not on create character screen, none of the NPC's in game. Tried a /load and load different skins. I just don't really remember many if any of the commands in game. Last time I gave p99 a shot was like 2018ish. But would like to be able to pop in casually play around once more, 24 years later.

Any advice on what I'm missing would be appreciated.

Sounds like the client isn't detecting your 3d card. You might have to enable whatever setting forces your laptop to use the discrete gpu over the integrated one. Check drivers or use dgvoodoo2.
