I just completed this quest today. It took me about 8 hours from beginning to end. I enlisted the help trackers for the last part of the quest to obtain the mark of clarity. The note above says that the tomekeeper can give you a different tome. This is true. I received a faded white tome with very cryptic instuctions. It turned out that I had to do the mechanical iksar tail quest to get the mark of clarity. www.monkly-business.com has a great walkthru with all the different tomes under the whistling fists quest. The shackle of Tynnonium is a sub quest for the whistling fist quest which rewards the whistling fist - a 12/20 h2h weapon with epic like stats and clickable jonathons whistling warsong. Server timeline ends with the release of Luclin which should be December 2001.
