Humanoid mobs should 'thank' players when they are given items
 

Stumbled on this old screenshot in a FoH thread about old EQ screenshots, I'd totally forgotten about this mechanic.

Humanoid mobs in EQ would "thank" you for giving them items.

I don't think it was every mob. Certain ones did. Like Mort and Gage in thurg.

They would also pick up items or cash off the ground and mention it. Dunno if that's in game.
