Here goes Red
 

Tossing and turning on the idea of returning after completing install/setup this morning. Upon leaving Blue I handed out out all of the gear I had accumulated (58 War) as I did not think I would be returning. As it stands I want to play something else regardless so it is a reroll either way, but I am contemplating Red this time. If there is a group/guild looking for another I am open to playing just about anything, just looking for some peeps to play with as the solo to 60 life is not why I am going Red =)

Go play this instead - fresh DAoC server that launched lastnight - had 3,000 players.

Red99 is for drug addicts and loners.

What’s the difference between this and ulthgard

Quicker leveling - QoL things like mini map - a few class balancing tweaks.

R99 is fine. You'll have fun. Numbers aren't great partly due to forum trolls driving away people. Or they split to other emulators.

Red is actually kind of fun. The global ooc is nice, the guild sanctuary is awesome and helpful for new players. Problem is you will need a solo able class at low levels the typical spots are ghost towns. I imagine if the nice guy environment stays for a bit more players will start showing up to avoid the blue swamp. But you'll definitly have issue leveling a cleric or rogue

68 players server is mother fucking thriving

^^ Quit years ago, still mad that people play... healthy mindset there.

I have witnessed the dead zone that is lower levels. Not really interested in soloing on a small server as it was the group bonus that caught my eye. PvP and such certainly seems an intriguing twist, but as a melee class lover not really fond of whacking away solo for 20+ levels with zero gear. No groups = no bueno
